Process art gives kids the ability to worry less about the finish product, and focus more on the experience of creating the art. Learning occurs through play, giving kids the opportunity to engage in hands-on experiences opens doors to creativity and imagination. This jingle bells process art activity engages many senses, and is loads of fun!
Jingle Bells Process Art
What you need:
- bells of various sizes
- rubber bands
- washable paint
- posterboard/large paper
What to do:
- Thread the rubber band through the top of a bell and secure.
- Place washable paint on a tray or paper plate.
- Dip the bells in the paint and let children bounce the bells on the poster board.
My kids had so much fun listening to the different sounds of the bells as they painted! They noticed the variety in sound with the size, and enjoyed watching the paint splat with higher ‘jumps’.
