One of our favorite things to do is simple science projects at home! Starting at a young age, my kids have explored the reaction between baking soda and vinegar, graduating from large measuring cups to pipettes and have enjoyed countless batches of oobleck, discovering something new every time.
15 Science Projects at Home
By engaging in simple science play at home, kids are learning about cause and effect and the basics of chemical reactions. It also allows for some imagination and creativity. All in all, science at home is good stuff. (Bonus – it keeps the kids really busy and engaged!)
And the cool part? It doesn’t have to be super involved! Not every experiment that you conduct in your kitchen needs to be science-fair, blue-ribbon worthy (although those are awesome too). By grabbing just a few basics out of your kitchen cabinet you can come up with all kinds of sciency fun!
Grab my totally free mini science ebook and 5 of your common household ingredients and I’ll show you how to make 15 really awesome science projects with your kids!
