These beach pudding cups are such a fun summer snack that kids will love to make, and eat. Great for a summer party, beach vacation, or summer camp.
Summer vacation is the perfect time for fun, themed snacks that kids can help make. Did you know cooking and baking are actually great ways to sneak in some summer learning?? (And, the kids won’t even know you’re doing it).
This snack is perfect to make for the Beach Week of our Summer Camp at Home! We have a similar Jello version in there too.
What you need for the beach pudding cups:
1 small package vanilla instant pudding
Blue food coloring (we like this natural kind)
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
Flamingo candy (we found them in the baking aisle at Walmart)
Sweedish Fish
Small plastic cups
How to make the Beach Pudding Cups
Mix pudding according to package directions and add blue food coloring until desired color is reached. Set aside.
Make your own graham cracker crumbs by placing graham crackers in a zip-top bag and rolling over them with a rolling pun until they are crushed.
Cover the bottom of each cup with graham cracker crumbs, then pour pudding over the top of the crumbs.
Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over one half of the top of the pudding.
Decorate with a candy flamingo on top of the graham cracker crumbs and a candy fish inside the pudding.
When should I make these beach pudding cups?
These would be so much fun for a summer party treat or to get ready for a fun beach family vacation!
