Father’s Day is a really wonderful day for kids to make gifts and cards for their dads, expressing their love and appreciation. Even from a young age, kids enjoy the process of making and giving a handmade Fathers Day card. This one includes a frog craft (don’t worry there’s a template) that attaches to a cards with the saying ‘You’re Toad-ally the Best Dad!’.
Frog-themed Handmade Fathers Day Card
What you need:
Black, Pink, Dark & Light Green Craft Foam Sheets
White Poster Board or Cardstock
Black Marker & Pencil
What to do:
Begin by downloading and printing the TOAD template.
Cut the template out. (cut the back legs off of the template first and set aside)
Trace the toad template onto the dark green craft foam sheet and cut out.
Glue the body of the toad onto white poster board or cardstock. Cut the belly from the frog template out. Trace belly and back legs onto light green craft foam.
Glue belly onto the body of the frog and the back legs in place. Refer to photo below.
Cut large half circles and small circles from light green craft foam. Glue circles onto the body of the frog.
Cut two circles from pink craft foam and glue onto the face of the frog. Cut a smile from black craft foam and glue in place or use black marker. Add expression to the smile with black marker on the pink cheeks.
Glue on google eyes.
Add a message with marker or print a message and glue onto your card.
