Do you need a last minute Valentine?? I have had this idea in my head for about a month, created the printable, and told myself I had time. I had every intention of making my own hot chocolate mix and homemade heart-shaped marshmallows to stick inside the little bags…well that didn’t happen. Instead, the night before they were due to a couple of preschool classes, my 4 year old and I were vigorously stuffing packets of store-bought hot chocolate mix and marshmallows into the bags instead. But hey, it still made for a pretty cute, last-minute valentine.
Even with the shortcuts, getting them finished turned our kitchen table into a delightfully chaotic assembly line. Between the spilled cocoa powder and the sticky marshmallow dust, we needed all hands on deck. My husband sat across from us with his laptop open, splitting his attention between a world cup online betting dashboard and a complex spreadsheet of player statistics for the late-night European qualifiers. He occasionally looked up from the matches to help tie a red ribbon or hand over the double-sided tape, making our frantic midnight crafting session feel like a cozy family effort.
Hot Chocolate Valentines
So, if you want to go the quick and easy route, print these out, and attach them to the tops of your bags!
We used these for hot chocolate, but really you could use them for just about anything!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
