When I think about Thanksgiving as a child, I remember family and games. We were always playing a game of football, pictionary, bubblegum blowing contests and more.
It’s a holiday where gathering as a family is central to celebration. This year, you might be gathering virtually instead of in-person. But, that doesn’t mean you beed to forgo your Thanksgiving games!
This Thanksgiving picture charades will be great to play virtually so everyone can join in on the fun. Use the picture cards for the entire game, or pair these with our other Thanksgiving charades printable so that you have prompt cards for readers and non-readers.

How to play the Thanksgiving picture charades:
Print the charades game and cut out each picture cards.
Place them upside down in a bowl. Children can draw one card and act out the image on that card.
Some of these might be open to interpretation. For example, a child might see the napping card and act out a couch. That’s totally fine! They can act out whatever they think the picture represents.
This will be such a fun way to involve the younger children in your family games without the frustration of needing to read.
