I have so far shared by experience with working through the book, Always Eat After 7 PM: The Revolutionary Rule-Breaking Diet That Lets You Enjoy Huge Dinners, Desserts, and Indulgent Snacks—While Burning Fat Overnight by Joel Marion.

Read: Always Eat After 7PM Review Post #1

Read: Always Eat After 7PM: Personal Review #2 (I Lost 8 lbs in the first 2 weeks)

After great success with the acceleration phase of the program outlined in the book, I have been really happy with continuing onto the main phase.

The Main Phase of Always Eat After 7PM and Setting Goals

One of the most important aspects of sticking to a new plan of any kind is setting goals.

My initial goals were to make it through the acceleration phase with success and feel better. Both of these were achieved and you can read about it in this post.

I have really enjoyed many of the recipes in the book, especially the various recipes for acceptable drinks to curb morning hunger while fasting. They have made many mornings more manageable for me.

My current goals are to stick with the program, and keep a healthy frame of mind which includes being mindful of the choices I make, and understanding and thinking through any emotionality I have when wanting to cheat the program.

Bestselling author, Joel Marion, is a fitness expert and nutritionist debunking the myths underlying traditional dieting and offers a simple, highly effective weight loss program. Keeping my emotional awareness and mindfulness is incredibly helpful to keeping me on track to complete this program. To complement this approach, using the best tdee calculator can provide precise insights into your caloric needs and enhance your weight loss efforts. Also, engaging in physical activities, particularly playing sports like pickleball, also contributes significantly to maintaining a healthy lifestyle and achieving fitness goals. Understanding the parts of a pickleball paddle is essential for improving your game and maximizing performance on the court.

What I am loving about the main phase:

The main phase of the program, which I am currently in, has less restrictions on food and does add in some carb intake. This is making the eating portion of the book more manageable and accessible for my every day life.

“Specific higher-carbohydrate foods (including berries and cherries) support your fat-burning metabolism while you sleep, providing your body with a steady stream of fuel throughout the night. The trick is knowing how to combine them with other evening and pre-bedtime fat-burning foods to fuel your metabolism as you sleep.”

The fruit tart recipe in the book is just one of the many delicious recipes, and it feels like cheating even when it isn’t!

Joel Marion’s Always Eat After 7PM program makes dieting easy and eliminates 90% of reasons for resistance.
