Kids need engaging content when learning to read. They need a story that they can connect with and the opportunity to have choices and variety when choosing books. Reading can be a challenge for some, but by having books that they really enjoy and can get immersed in, they are much more excited abut the entire process. These interactive books for animal lovers are just perfect if you have a little non-fiction reader at home, or want to supplement your teaching with books!

The Scanorama series is an amazing series of interactive books for animal lovers. They provide fun learning and an up-close view of awesome animals.

Interactive Books for Animal Lovers

My five year-old enjoys books, while he can’t yet read, his affinity for books is there. I try not to worry about his ability to read sight words or finding grade level books for him to read. I focus on making sure he enjoys the process of reading, the story, the imagination and creativity and even the illustrations. His favorite books have always been non-fiction and full of facts. Add a little bit of interaction through flaps, pop-ups, etc and he is a happy camper. When we had the opportunity to check out the Scanorama books from Silver Dolphin Books, it was like stumbling upon a gold mine. The Scanorama series is an amazing series of interactive books for animal lovers. They provide fun learning and an up-close view of awesome animals.

We have been reading the three books in the series, Scanorama: Deadly Predators, Scanorama: Amazing Animals and Scanorama: Dinosaurs. Not only are the books full of fun facts, but there are engaging details, amazing photography, and x-ray scanners to get a closer look at the animals. Check out their video on Instagram to see just how cool they really are!
