Lego building is such a great way to keep kids busy and learning. Legos are often sold in kits with pre-determined instructions that kids love to build. However, once a kit has been built, it can be hard for kids to think of inventive ways to build something new with those same blocks. A lego challenge is a really fun way to do this, and these Christmas lego challenge cards are the perfect printable for the holidays!

How to Set Up a Lego Building Challenge
You can use these cards in a few different ways:
- have children draw one from a bowl and then build it together with legos
- set up a calendar where you spend 2 weeks completing a prompt each day
- make it a game – draw a card to challenge a friend or family member to complete the prompt! Have a third party vote on a challenge winner if you have competitive kids.
Use these as Christmas Drawing Prompt Cards
Looking for a drawing challenge to do with kids? These nativity prompts don’t have to be build out of Legos! Grab the same printable above and draw the prompts or something to go along with the prompt word instead.
My daughter loves drawing challenges as she is often stumped on what to sketch, and like a topic or a prompt to get started.
Follow the same suggestions for ways to play above with the drawing challenge too!
Use these for a Christmas memory game!
I love finding multiple uses for a printable. These prompt cards would also make a great memory match game for toddlers and preschoolers.
Simply print two copies on card stock, or glue the pieces onto construction paper, and set up a memory game with your kids!
