30 Day LEGO Challenge for Kids

There are very few things that you can’t build from LEGO pieces. LEGOS are just really cool, versatile and allow kids to create objects and imaginative items that they never really thought was possible.

And more than likely, you have plenty of LEGO’s just lying around your house. (hopefully, you don’t step on any as I do!)

When it comes to giving your child a plan and structure on how to create with their LEGOS, this challenge is actually really cool. Every day that they wake up, they know that they have a “job” to create that object with their LEGO’s.

It’s the perfect way to work on the creativity, imagination, fine motor skills and comprehension all in one.

Here are 30 different Lego challenges to do each day:

  1. Build a roller coaster.
  2. Build a town.
  3. Build a rocket ship.
  4. Build the world’s tallest tower.
  5. Build an airplane.
  6. Build the perfect pizza.
  7. Build a robot.
  8. Build a boat that floats.
  9. Build a castle.
  10. Build a horse.
  11. Build a maze.
  12. Build a picture frame.
  13. Build a train.
  14. Build a venus fly trap.
  15. Build a unicorn.
  16. Build a pirate ship.
  17. Build a scene from your favorite book.
  18. Build an ice cream truck.
  19. Build a dog house.
  20. Build a flying saucer.
  21. Build a sports arena.
  22. Build a water park.
  23. Build a shark.
  24. Build a bridge.
  25. Build a tree house.
  26. Build your name with bricks.

How does LEGO building help young learners?

LEGOS are a great way to build the minds and curiosity of younger learners. With LEGO’s, almost anything can be created and built.

Not only does this teach kids that they have engineering skills and math skills, but it also shows them that they can be inventors as well. Building with Legos at home is a great way to work some STEM education into play-time – how cool right?!

Structure for children works wonders

When it comes to creating a schedule and setting structure, most kids actually do well in that type of environment. While this printable may not have times set up and structure to that degree, your child will love the fact that they know what they’re going to be building each and every day.

It gives them an opportunity to know and look ahead, which is such a great way to teach internal motivation as well!
