Whenever I find little recyclables I have a hard time tossing them in the trash! One of our favorite ways to make kids crafts is to use recycled materials, find inspiration, and see what we can create. My son and I always comment that the tops of the applesauce pouches look like dragonfly wings, so we decided to use them for a fun dragonfly kids craft!

Dragonfly Kids Craft Instructions
What you need:
- 2 GoGo Squeez applesauce pouch caps
- large button
- pipe cleaner
- pony beads
- hot glue gun
What to do:
Begin by threading a portion of a pipe cleaner through a large button to create a face and antennae.
String pony beads onto the remainder of the pipe cleaner and secure the ends by folding them up and twisting. Bead stringing is fantastic fine motor practice for kids, and pipe cleaner are great to practice this with little hands!
Using a glue gun, glue the tops of two applesauce pouch caps together.
To that, glue the button to the top as a head, and glue the pipe cleaner with beads to the bottom.
That’s it! Your dragonfly kids craft is complete! I love that kids can make these fly through the air and their little beaded bodies wiggle. Spinning the beads around has also proven to be a great fidget toy for my sensory seeker.

Have fun making your dragonfly kids craft!
