This drawing garden game is for kids who love to talk and learn about gardens. It’s a roll and draw game that can be played competitively or just for fun.
One of my kids favorite games to play are Roll and Draw games. It’s also an easy one to set up for any number of players and the outcome is almost never the same. This Drawing Garden Game for kids is so simple, and kids who are elementary aged will love to play! What a great free printable board game for kids.
Drawing Garden Game for Kids
This game will encourage kids to draw their own garden, and they might even learn how to draw a couple of new things.
You can easily print this for just a couple of kids or for a large group. Additionally, kids can play this on their own like a quiet time activity to see what their dice rolling will add to their garden picture.
Use crayons, markers, colored pencils or pens to make your image pop, and kids can feel free to continue to add to their garden making a fun piece of art.
How to play the Drawing Garden Game
The PDF game to print includes 2 pages, one with the images of dice and what should be drawn when that number is rolled.
The second page is the garden template that children will be drawing on.
Print one sheet of the dice and instruction page, and then as many of the garden drawing page as needed (one per player).
Children will take turn rolling a dice and drawing what is shown for that number on their garden.
Play the game competitively or just for fun
If playing competitively:
Players continue to take turns until one player has rolled one of each number, and their picture contains all of the drawing prompts. Once the picture if full, that player wins.
If playing for fun:
Players continue rolling and adding to their garden until they are done playing!
