How to make the Roll a Love Bug game
Print the game board and pieces by clicking on the image below. Print multiple love bug boards and game piece sheets, one per player of the game.
Once printed, cut out the individual eyes, mouths, and embellishments. Laminate these pieces and the love bug board for lasting durability.
If you are using this as a drawing game instead, print the sheets but leave them intact, crossing off items as players draw the specific scarves, mouths, etc.
Roll a Love Bug Rules
Pass a love bug board out to each player, and place the remaining face pieces and embellishments in a pile.
Taking turns, children can roll one of the dice.
Refer to the game boards to see what piece from the pile corresponds with the number on the die. For example, if the child rolls a 1, they will choose a head from the pile and place it on the love bug board.
Play continues until one player completes the love bug with all the numbers on the dice.
*If a player rolls a number that they don’t need because they already have that piece, they don’t place anything on the love bug and pass the dice to the next player.
