How to play the New Years Eve Dice Game
Place a pile of candy in the middle of the table and find a single die (dice).
Each player begins with a few pieces of candy, we chose 5 but you can use whatever number you like to start with.
Starting with the youngest child, roll the dice and follow the prompt below.
The prompts are as follows:
1 = Pick one piece of candy from the middle, and name a funny thing that happened this past year.
2 = Pick two pieces of candy from the middle, and talk about something you’re looking forward to in the New Year.
3 = Pass one piece of your candy to the left and discuss an exciting thing that happened this past year.
4 = Pass one piece of candy to your right and name something you play to do differently in the new year.
5 = Put two pieces back and talk about something you’re thankful for that happened this past year.
6 = Put one piece back and name some way you plan to do something kind in the upcoming year.
What a fun way to get kids to reminisce and goal plan! Bonus, you earn candy.
Play for a designated number or turns, or until all of the candy is gone from the middle! Happy playing!
