My Results with Always Eat After 7PM
While I don’t know if I’ll ever really be ‘done’ with the program, I think it will continue to be a way of life for me, I have had results in many different forms.
- I have lost over 10 pounds in just a few weeks.
- I have made intermittent fasting a way of life that is manageable and not at all difficult
- I have added a handful of go-to recipes from the book to my normal repertoire of foods to make for myself or my family
The Always Eat After 7 PM plan consists of: The 14-day Acceleration Phase to kick-start the program and see rapid results, The Main Phase where you’ll learn exactly which foods to eat when in order to achieve your weight-loss goals, The Lifestyle Phase to keep the weight off for good.
I think I will continue to stay in the main phase for a while, and am excited to see what that brings me. Plus, looking forward to the lifestyle phase keeps me going!
In times where I’ve felt like I just can’t keep going because of the mental load of keeping up with kids, busy schedules and our normal routine, I rely on the information in the book to get me back on track.
I have gone back and reread chapters of the book that explain how my body processes different foods, and the benefits of following the program laid out in the book. Reading this again gets my right back on track every time.
One of my favorite excerpts from the book is
“In general, healthy fats can also help increase feelings of fullness and satisfaction because they regulate appetite through a number of mechanisms, including the release of appetite hormones. What’s more, combining fat with fiber has been shown to further increase the satiating potential of fat. The satiating power of fats is often one explanation offered to describe why some weight loss trials have shown that low-carbohydrate (and higher-fat) diets tend to lead to greater weight loss than low-fat diets.”
These are the types of tidbits of information that help me remember why this program works so well for me, and why it’s important to keep going.
