Fifteen adorable cupcake liner crafts for kids to make. Take this inexpensive household material and turn it into something really fun.
There are so many fun ways to craft with kids! While process art is, in my opinion, is highly beneficial to the creative process, crafting with kids can be a great opportunity for bonding as well as for practicing fine and gross motor skills.
Fine motor skills learned during craft time
Why are fine motor skills so important? These little finger workouts are excellent for helping kids practice handwriting, before they are even ready to write! Glueing, cutting with scissors, scribbling with a marker and sprinkling glitter are all examples of actions that encourage fine motor practice. When crafting with your kids, let them do all of these! And, if they have an idea of what their craft should look like that isn’t in line with yours, thats ok too.
Cupcake Liner Crafts for Kids
I love crafting with inexpensive or household materials. Often, kids are very excited by the idea that an object can serve many purposes, and just the thought of taking a cupcake liner that has a specific purpose, and using it for something else, inspires creative thinking in kids.
