It’s no secret we LOVE sensory play at our house. The stickier and slimier the better! I know that is not the case for a lot of children, this Halloween slime is the perfect mix of squishy and slimy but it does NOT stick to your hands! Sensory activities encourage exploration and encourage children to use scientific processes as they play, explore and create. This slime is excellent hands-on science for your kids, I know my son loves it when he gets to be a ‘scientist’ 😉 RELATED: Check out Steve Spangler Science to get science projects delivered RIGHT to your door…and they are COOL.

Halloween Slime for Sensory Play
You Will Need:
- 1 Tsp Borax (concerned about Borax? this video might be helpful)
- 5 oz Clear Glue
- Warm Water
- Halloween Confetti
- Orange Glitter
What to do:
- Mix 1 tsp of Borax into 1 cup of warm water.
- In a separate bowl, pour 1 bottle (5 ounces) of clear glue and mix with 4-5 ounces of warm water. {I like to just refill the glue bottle with warm water and add that to the glue}.
- Add the borax mixture to the glue mixture.
- It should coagulate quickly. Continue to mix until a ball is formed. Drain any excess water.
- Add confetti or glitter. We used pumpkin and ghost confetti and orange glitter to make it Halloween themed.
- Play! The more you squeeze and mix it the better!
We hollowed out some mini pumpkins and added that to our tray for some extra fun! This slime should last for a couple of weeks in an airtight container.

This looks like such a fun activity. I’m going to pin it so I can do it later with my own kids!!
