This Frankenstein Halloween wreath is so simple to make, and just funny enough not to be spooky! Inspired by this spider door wreath, these large googly eyes are too fun.  With only a few materials and about 10 minutes of work, we had a super simple, homemade, Frankenstein-ish door decoration 🙂

DIY Frankenstein Halloween Wreath

What you need:

  • large googly eyes
  • green foam wreath
  • black foam sheet
  • green wired mesh
  • spray adhesive
  • T pins

What to do:

Begin by spraying a section of the wreath with adhesive, and wrapping the mesh around the wreath.

Continue spraying and wrapping until the entire wreath is covered.

Next, cut a rectangle with a zig-zag side out of your sheet of black foam. Attach it to your wreath using either T pins or hot glue. I kind of like the way the pins look, similar to the bolts you would typically see on Frankenstein.

I used the same pins to attach the eyes to the wreath, again, you could use hot glue.

Tie a piece of twine or string to the top of the wreath under the foam.

Hang on your door or on the wall as a simple Halloween wreath! How easy is that?
