Ok…so sometimes our projects really don’t turn out as planned…today we tried out a really cool idea that I had seen floating around Pinterest but it just didn’t work. I’m blogging about it anyway hoping that you will try it and get much better results than we did!
The concept is simple. Get foam letter stickers and place them on the bottom of your shoe creating a stamp. Simple right?? Yea…that’s what I thought.
I think my main problem was my choice of stickers. I bought these at the dollar store and they were very thin, so I used two layers but I don’t think there was enough there to make a real stamp. If I had gotten thicker stickers or had done more layers it would have been much better.
Just remember when trying this you have to place them as a mirror image to that you can read it in the sand!
So if you look carefully you can see the print. But you have to REALLY look for it! Maybe I’ll blame it on the Bermudan sand… Look here for an example of how nice these can turn out!
At the very least, we had a beautiful beach walk! I hope you have better luck than we did. It did provide us with the opportunity to teach Mack about trial and error 🙂
