We took the #PlayVision sensory challenge! My kids LOVE sensory play, so when given the opportunity to check out three amazing sensory materials, we jumped all over it.

#PlayVision Sensory Challenge
My kids (4 & 6) played with each of these sensory compounds, Floof, Sands Alive and Play Dirt. Here were there takeaways, and the order in which they preferred them:
- Floof. This was their favorite. It has a great squishy texture which ‘feels like a soft pillow’. It molded easily which made it fun for shaping, and it didn’t have a strong scent, which my sensory-specific guy appreciated.
- Play Dirt. A close second, this had a really nice feel, but stuck together, eliminating some of the mess and frustration of trying to shape it.
- Sands Alive. While fun, they felt frustrated with the Sands Alive when trying to get it to do what they wanted. This would be the perfect material for someone who just wanted to squish and squeeze, yet is quite messy.
