These summer writing prompts printable sheets for kids will encourage children to write and create throughout the summer.
We like to keep summers fun and easy for our kids. However, any time I can sneak in a bit of learning to prevent the summer slide through fun, I take the opportunity. These summer writing prompts printable sheets are fun for kids to get thinking and creating (and even writing!).
Summer Writing Prompts Printable Sheets
If your kids are anything like mine, they aren’t thrilled about me making them sit down and write during the summer. They like to spend their days in the pool, or throwing a ball in the backyard.
If I were to drag them out of the pool to say “hey, let’s sit down and practice your writing”, I’m sure I would be met with groans. However, if when they come in for lunch I whip out some fun writing prompts with pictures and declare that we can sit and make up some fun stories, they just might get excited!
These summer writing prompts printable sheets include a packet of 4 journal entry ideas with a summer theme for kids.
