This Spring bug Tic Tac Toe printable game is the perfect DIY game for toddlers and preschoolers! My 6 year old even still loves to play it because he is able to strategize with it now. Print it off, laminate it (my preference) and play! You can throw it in a pouch as a busy bag to take with you on the go, check out how we make it a little bit harder to lose the pieces 😉

Spring Bug Tic Tac Toe Printable Game
What you need:
Printable game board and pieces
Scissors
Plastic bag or zippered pouch
Laminator (optional)
Velcro dots (optional)
What to do:
I prefer to laminate all of my printables because it makes them much more durable, especially for a game like this! This also helps it double as a busy bag, because I know it will hold up thrown in a purse or a diaper bag.
Cut out the game board and pieces.
Attach velcro (optional) and get ready to play! I love to use velcro because I can take this with me on the go without worrying too much about my kids getting frustrated with falling pieces – this can be especially difficult on an airplane or something!
My toddler is loving this game, we are experimenting with placing the pieces upside down and sideways too for added fun!

For use as a busy bag:
Like I mentioned above, by throwing the pieces into a zippered pouch or a plastic bag, this becomes a great busy bag that you can do together, or that siblings can play!

I hope you find many ways to play with your Spring Tic Tac Toe printable game!

I am in awe of the idea of the “Busy Bag” and the use of velcro dots. I would never have thought of those ingenious adaptions. She is adorable!
