This printable window rainbow scavenger hunt template is a great way to have the kids be creative to showcase their artwork and also hang proudly for others to see. The more that you get to join in on the fun, the more rainbows that you’ll be able to find daily.

While this might look like a simple coloring page, it’s not. The purpose of this Printable Window Rainbow Scavenger Hunt Template is to have more people in your neighborhood join in on the fun. Print, decorate and hang up and then walk around the neighborhood with the kids and see how many other rainbows you can find hanging up in the windows, too.

Printable Window Rainbow Scavenger Hunt Template

Rainbows just seem to make everything better, right? This is why our house really loves this simple rainbow template. It’s a quick and creative way to print out rainbows, color them, and hang them up to make someone’s day just a little bit brighter.

Every time we go outside and turn around and look at our house, we’re instantly greeted by these beautiful pictures that the kids created. It’s enough to turn any frown upside down and it’s quite powerful if you can get everyone in the neighborhood on board to do it also.

What is the Printable Window Rainbow Scavenger Hunt Template meant to be used as?

Honestly, just like the messages state on the pictures of the rainbow templates below, they’re meant to remind people to “be happy” and “stay safe”. It’s literally as simple and beautiful as that.

These printables are a simple way to make people smile and are a fun way to get the kids out of the house and moving their bodies while trying to locate all the rainbows in the area.

What’s on the Printable Window Rainbow Scavenger Hunt Template?

These free printables come with two different templates. One says “be happy” while the other says “be safe”.

The other really great part about these rainbow printables is that they’re perfect for a wide variety of ages. Kids and adults can color them and feel the stress melt away and then showcase their work for the world.

This is a great family activity that everyone can partake in to spread a little happiness and joy.

While it’s fun to go around and find the rainbows, change it up a bit and make it to where you have to walk and count the “stay safe” ones first and then the “be happy” ones later.

Or, if you just want to keep this scavenger hunt to your house only, print them out and hide them for the kids to find.
