This pattern scavenger hunt is a great way to get the kids up and moving. Open their eyes to notice all the fun patterns in your house and see how many they can find!
Having an indoor pattern hunt is a great way to get the kids running about and discovering new things in the house. This Pattern Scavenger Hunt will have them giggling for hours! Great for an indoor activity but you could take it outside to see if there are any discoveries, too!
Pattern Scavenger Hunt
Since the kids are all about finding things inside and outside, why not give them something new to look for? Hide and seek is fun, but after a while, a change of things to look for will give everyone a bit of a fresh start.
This allows the kids to use their eyes and memory skills to see just how closely they’ve paid attention to details in the past. You just might be surprised by how many patterns they’ll be able to find. Who knows, you may find a few new ones yourself.
What’s on the Pattern Scavenger Hunt?
Since there are a lot of great patterns to choose from, they’re going to have a blast. (not only are some given to them but there are also places that they can create their own patterns and draw them as they find them, too!)
The patterns that they’ll be looking for on this hunt are:
- Spots
- Stripes
- Zig-Zags
- Spiral
- Animal Print
- Wavy Lines
- Check
- Floral
- Tiled
But don’t stop there! Challenge them to see if there are any other unique and fun patterns in the house that they can seek and find, too!
This pack goes beyond this one pattern hunt. There are 8 total pages in which you can make your own patterns, find different colored patterns and more!

How to Complete the Scavenger Hunt
