How to make the elf ornament:

Begin by assembling the outfit base. Glue 4 craft sticks together, or glue two small craft sticks along the back of the 4 together to make it nice and sturdy for little hands.

Once dried, paint the craft sticks with green paint.

Wrap the painted craft sticks with green string or yarn. Children can select their elf outfit fabric from a variety of strings and ribbons to make this even more creative and independent.

Once wrapped, add foam embellishments for the belt and the collar of the elf suit.

Loop a ribbon or a string and attach to the back of the outfit with glue to hang on the tree as a DIY elf ornament.
