My typical approach for prepping light bulbs involves making sure they are free from dust, rinsing them under running water for 30 seconds before giving them another rinse in white vinegar. While usually painting using brushes, this particular project required using spray cans instead, in order to achieve a sunset effect more easily than would otherwise be achievable with brushes (not impossible, just more challenging).
