Egg carton crafts are great for turning recyclables into fun activities for kids. Toddlers and older children will love to make these egg carton spiders as a fun Halloween craft or seasonal project.
Egg Carton Spiders
We eat a lot of the eggs in our house, and egg cartons are always begging to be played with before being tossed into the recycling bin. Cutting them apart is perfect inspiration for many different projects. We have made DIY Snowman Ornament Made from Recycled Egg Cartons, a Butterfly Life Cycle Craft from Recycled Egg Cartons, and even a DIY Bird Mask from Recycled Egg Cartons.
This fall craft will be just what kids will love to create to get them into the Halloween spirit.

How to make the Halloween egg carton craft
Cut the egg carton into pieces where each individual egg sits. Paint a piece of egg carton with black paint and let it dry.
Prepare 8 fuzzy wires by cutting them into leg length and attach 4 on each side of the egg carton.
Make the eyes by cutting small circles of cardboard then color black pupils with marker. Then, attach the eyes to the egg carton.
Fold the outer part of the pipe cleaner feet of the spider a little to finish it off.
What a cute Halloween spider craft
These egg carton spiders are so easy, but also so cute! The beauty of these spiders is that however children put them together, they will be adorable. Toddlers might glue the legs in different configurations, and some spider eyeballs might be off-centered, but that’s the beauty of a kids craft.
