Busy bags are small bags of materials that kids can use for an activity. They are meant to be for practicing material that they already know and can do independently, making them great for the times you are distracted or need them to work independently.

How to Make the Halloween Lacing Cards
Print the cards by clicking on the image below.
These will print one card on a full sheet of paper if you print as it. These make really large lacing cards, but to make them smaller for a busy bag, follow the print settings below to print 4 per page, making them smaller and easier to take out and about with you.
Once printed, cut out the cards if you chose to make multiple per page, and laminate with a machine or with self-adhesive laminating pouches. This keeps the cards stiff which makes it easier for little hands to lace, and makes them durable.
Alternatively, you can print them on heavyweight paper such as cardstock, but they might not last as long.
Once laminated, punch holes in each of the designated hole areas and allows children to weave string in and out of the holes.
They can get creative and just lace around the edge making a border design and following a sewing motion, or they can go across the design. Maybe they might like to weave a web over the spider!
These are great for as busy bags, for Halloween table work, or even for goodie bags at your next Halloween party! Have so much fun with these Halloween lacing cards.
