Roll a Christmas Tree Printable Game for Kids
My kids love homemade board games, and I love how budget-friendly they can be! This can be played a few different ways depending on the age of your children and their interests. Cut the game pieces, laminate and play; or, use it as a drawing game instead, using the printable as drawing prompts.
My 6 year old wanna-be artist loves to do it this way as she practices her art skills everywhere. This makes such a fun Winter activity for kids, and there are a few different ways you can modify your game play depending on the age of the children playing. Or, play in teams pairing older children with younger children!
We have made this as a Roll a Snowman version as well!

How to make the Roll a Christmas tree game
Print the game board and pieces by clicking on the image below. Print multiple tree boards, one per player of the game.
Once printed, cut out the individual embellishments. Laminate these pieces and the tree board for lasting durability.
If you are using this as a drawing game instead, print the sheets but leave them intact, crossing off items as players draw the specific lights, etc. Because the tree is green, we used sharpie markers to decorate our trees, the metallic colors looked great!
Roll a Christmas Tree Rules
Pass a tree board out to each player, and place the remaining embellishments in a pile.
Taking turns, children can roll one of the dice.
Refer to the game boards to see what piece from the pile corresponds with the number on the die. For example, if the child rolls a 1, they will choose an ornament from the pile and place it on the tree.
Play continues until one player completes the tree with all the numbers on the dice.
*If a player rolls a number that they don’t need because they already have that piece, they can place and extra piece on the tree, but still need to roll all numbers to complete it!
Have so much playing this fun Roll a Christmas tree board game!
