These Christmas handprint art templates are perfect for making homemade cards or artwork. Kids will have so much fun making these!
I love a good Christmas handprint art project! They made adorable gifts or holiday decor, and best of all, kids LOVE making them.
I have put together a few printables for Christmas handprint art, all you need to do is print them out, and then place the handprints or fingerprints to fill in the picture! This makes them look really nice and they can be framed, turned into cards, etc. Get creative!
We have already made a few on heavy card stock that we will mod podge to canvas for grandparents. We will also be attaching some to wrapped gifts for a little personal touch. Additionally, we make canvas art out of them, see how here.

Christmas Tree Handprint Art
Paint hands green, and follow the template to place handprints. Depending on the size of the child’s hand, you will need fewer or more handprints, M (4) used 4 handprints.

Christmas Wreath Handprint Art
This printable is a little small (8×10) for bigger hands. M’s hands took up most of the paper so we also did this one as a fingerprint art, which he liked just as much. But, with smaller toddler or baby hands this wreath would be adorable! You could also alternate between dark green and lighter green paint or add some fingerprint red berries…get crazy with it!

Santa Handprint Art
We printed this template onto white cardstock, but it would have been better on a light colored paper so that the beard of Santa showed up a bit better. Paint the palm of the child’s hand tan, and the fingers white, placing the painted hands under the hat, fingers pointed downward. Once dry, I painted the eyes, nose, mouth and mustache on, and outlined the handprint.

Christmas Tree Fingerprint Art
Kids can use whatever colors they like to make fingerprint ornaments on this Christmas Tree! You can use washable ink or tempera paint. If you want to see the fingerprint better I would recommend ink. We used tempera paint and it still came out cute!

Hey! I pinned these this morning! I really need to do more hand/footprint crafts with Caleb. He sleeps so much and is an absolute terror when he is awake that I haven’t gotten into a lot of crafts. He has a knack for putting EVERYTHING in his mouth and getting colors on everything but the intended object. I don’t really mind, but I have gotten lazy with art projects because of it. Anywho…love these and am hoping to give them a try.
