When using printable playdough mats, you will want to make the printable non-stick. Do this by laminating the playdough mat, or by placing it inside of a sheet protector. This will allow the kids to use this printable over and over again, and the plastic will clean up easily.
Is the playdough mat sturdy?
Once you laminate it, yes! And laminating it is key! If you don’t want your playdough to stick to it, lamination is an absolute must!
Get ready to have hours of creation and imagination with this super simple life cycle playdough mat. Your kids will love that they get to “play” with playdough and you’ll love that they’re learning at the same time!
What are some other activities for learning about the life cycle of a butterfly?
We love raising our own butterflies each year. We order caterpillars, watch them grow, observe them as they create their cocoons, and emerge into beautiful butterflies! This is such a fun process, and we do many butterfly themed activities while we wait for them to hatch to further the learning.
