This bubble wrap craft is simple and so much fun! Let your little ones create beautiful flowers with ease and possibly without any of your help!

If you’re looking for a toddler craft that is certain to please, this is one that needs to be on your radar. Who doesn’t love playing with and painting bubble wrap?!

I love bubble wrap. But what I love even more than popping it, is knowing that we’re putting it to good use. Throwing it away is just more junk in the landfill to have to worry about…but when you can take an item like that and use to for art, that’s amazing and awesome all at the same time.

This toddler craft is so simple and easy to do. It’s the perfect craft for summer fun!

Stamped Hydrangea Bubble Wrap Craft for Toddlers

If you have a toddler, you might constantly be searching for a toddler craft or two to keep them busy. (Where do they get all that energy anyways?!) The good news? Every single craft is a fun way to introduce them to something new. And if you’re looking for activities for toddlers to be able to do indoors or outdoors, this bubble wrap craft is certain to hit those marks.

Who knows…you might be right along there with them, painting and stamping away!

What you need to make this bubble wrap craft

  • red craft paint
  • bubble wrap
  • green marker
  • white craft paper
  • paint brush

How to make this toddler craft

1. Begin by cutting a blossom shape from your bubble wrap. A simple scalloped circle will do.
2. Apply a coat of red craft paint to the bubble side of the bubble wrap. Apply two coats so it is nice and thick.

3. Turn the stamp over and press it to the white paper. Press firmly so the stamp adheres nicely.
4. Gently lift the stamp pulling it back carefully. The geranium print will be revealed.
5. Repeat, adding more paint if needed. You can do a cluster of stamps to look like a bouquet.
6. Use the green marker to make stems and greenery on the paper.

7. Allow the paint to dry. Your bubble wrap geraniums can now be displayed!

Can I save the bubble wrap and reuse it again for this craft?

Yes, if you wash the paint off the bubble wrap, you should be able to reuse it over and over again.

See how much fun this toddler craft is?! It’s so simple, you’ll hardly even have to help. And if you’re not helping, that means that your hands are free to create one or two of your own. You’re never too old to join in on the crafting fun!

What if my toddler’s stamps don’t look right?

The beauty of toddler crafts, is that the process is much more important than the end result. I do like to take their process art, such as stamping wildly with bubble wrap, and turn them into fun works of art!

Plus, older kids like to make these too. A win-win for all!
